Minelab GPX 6000 overview
The GPX 6000 is a pulse induction gold detector using GeoSense-PI with SETA timing alignment. Ground balance is automatic or manual through Quick-Trak, and there are two ground modes, Difficult (the default) and Normal. Sensitivity runs from 1 to 10 manual, plus Automatic and Auto+. Audio goes to the speaker, a 3.5mm jack or aptX Bluetooth. Listed depth is 4 feet and the weight is 2.1 kg with the 11-inch coil.
Its light carbon fibre shaft and U-Flex armrest make long days of swinging easier, whether you are walking dry river terraces or mineralised hill ground in the north. Two batteries give roughly 8 hours each, and the coils are waterproof to 1 metre. You receive the GPX11 mono and GPX14 Double-D coils, ML 100 wireless headphones, two batteries, mains and 12V car chargers and a manual. Made in Australia, 3-year warranty.
