The Gold Monster 2000 is a portable gold detector with Hybrid Multi-Au technology, which combines synchronised VLF frequencies from 12 to 76 kHz with pulse induction ground processing. It has Easy-Trak automatic and Quick-Trak manual ground balance, sensitivity of ten manual levels plus Automatic and Auto+, and a digital ID of 0 to 99 with a Gold Probability indicator. Echo Wave is the default audio.

A telescopic carbon fibre shaft folds to 65 cm and the whole detector weighs 1.25 kg, which suits long walks along dry streams and hillside gullies. The 5-inch Double-D coil is waterproof to 1 metre and the box is IP55 rain resistant. In the box are the control box, GM2000-05 coil, wired earphones, two rechargeable lithium-ion batteries, AC and car chargers and a quick start guide. Made in Australia, 2-year warranty.
