Minelab X-Terra Intrepid

Minelab X-Terra Intrepid overview

The X-Terra Intrepid is a simple, light detector working at 5.82 kHz with two modes, All Metal and Non-Ferrous, plus Pinpoint. It gives three tones, three volume levels, five sensitivity levels, five discrimination segments and a five-level depth indicator. Target ID reads 0 to 30 for ferrous and 31 to 98 for non-ferrous. Listed depth is 3 feet, and the weight is 1.2 kg.

Power comes from two 9V alkaline batteries, so spares are easy to find in any local market. The 10-inch concentric coil is waterproof to 1 metre, enough for puddles and shallow water, though the control box itself is not for submersion. It suits people starting out on fields, school grounds and open village land. In the box: control unit, 10-inch coil, two 9V batteries, manual and warranty certificate. Made in Australia, 12-month warranty.
